Product Description
CALIGHT® 40 is a high alumina cement containing about 40 % of Al2O3. Because this kind of cement gives no free lime like Portlandcement it makes it resistant to high temperatures (well above 1000ºC.) In use as a binder for building purposes this cement gives a very high early strength > 55 MpA after 6 hours. Further to this it gives a higher resistance to abrasion,and better resistance to chemical attack. In the building chemistry industry it is often used to accelerate the setting of Portlandcement. The cement is dark brown to black .
